This famous Buddhist piligrimage site, as well as, a favored stopover for trekkers, can be reached either by motorable road from Dhulikhel or by a half-day trekking of four hours with steep climbing of about an hour from Po no uti, the term 'Nama Buddha' in Sanskrit means "Hail to Buddha". Along with its religious importance, the entire setting is peaceful and the scenery and views are equally breathtaking.

Palanchowk Bhagwati
It lies 22km. north-east of Dhulikhel and is situated on the top of a hill about 1,563 m from sea level. The temple houses a three-feet long beautiful artistic image - a masterpiece in stone - of Goddess Bhagwati, where one does not find the impact of Rudra or himsa (violence). She is calm, peaceful, loving and showering her blessing to her devotees. From the hilltop, the magnificent views of surrounding are most rewarding.

Charikot

Tatopani/chinese Border
Tatopani is about 80 km from DhulikheL just on the way to the Chinese border. In Nepali, 'Toto' means 'Hot' and 'rani' means 'Water'. So, every year in winter (Nov.-Dec.), thousands of people visit Tatopani for taking hot spring baths. About four km from Tatopani lies the Chinese border, where one can acquaint with traditional Khasa Village of China - a superb market for the Chinese goods from where a great range of products from cloth to electronic goods are imported to Nepal. Dolalghat/sunkoshi River
Dolalghat 30 km to the east of Dhulikhel, is both the beginning and ending point of rafting on the Sunkoshi river. Literally the 'river of gold', it has been one of the most magnificent rivers for rafters. This river, which originates from Tibet and combines with six other rivers, flows through the southern plains of Nepal and enters India to mingle with the Ganges. It is the most challenging river for adventurers for its boisterous rapids.

Nagarkot
A trek (about 5 hrs) from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel via Banepa and Nola is another exhilarating nature walk from where awe-inspiring view of entire Kahtmandu valley together with Phulchowki, Nagarjun and Shivapuri ridges can be seen against the northern boundary of Majestic Himalayas. The moderate trail passes mostly downhill and at some points it descends rather steeply. Ridges are followed all the way to Nola and impart continuous views into the valley. The trail goes on through Ghimiregaun. Even in the month of February, some of the trails may look a bit muddy and slippery. One should not miss a visit of Chandeswhori Temple while venturing to Banepa. Similarly two major Temples, an outstanding four storeyed temple of Nala Bhagwati and a Buddhist Shrine of Lokeshwor also known as Nola Karunamaya are to be visited at Nala.
