from the Hotel (Sunrise, Sunset & Moonlight)
Himalayan Horizon is a special retreat, in the heart of
the countryside away from the well-trodden tourist trails,
yet providing high standard of comfort and the indulgence
of luxury.
From the hotel you can watch the whole long play of sunrise
bathing the mountains rose and gold. You can take morning
tea or lunch in the courtyard, sip cocktails as the sunsets
over the valleys and dine in the Terrace Garden Restaurants
as the mountains shine silver in the moonlight.
About Dhulikhel
Dhulikhel is a typical Newari town with nearby Tamang
villages. It is situated 30 km. east of Kathmandu on the
side of Arniko Highway on the way towards Tibet. Dhulikhel
is popular for its natural beauty and ancient traditions.
The Himalayan ranges from the twin crest of Mt. Langtang
in the west to the Mt. Everest in the east can be clearly
viewed in a clear day. Dhulikhel is ideal for snow-capped
